_______________________________________________

Preliminary registration is on-going for 7th and 8th grade boys and girls 2021 spring lacrosse!

If your child loves to play lacrosse or wants to learn this fun and fast-paced sport please use the "Register Online" to enroll for the upcoming Spring season.

We are currently planning what this season will look like in light of Covid-19.  While plans may change, we anticipate a scaled down season this year for our 7th and 8th grade teams comprised of practices, intra-squad scrimmages and a reduced schedule of local games. Unlike previous seasons, we do not anticipate that either the boys or girls will be playing in the NHYLA travel league, largely comprised of teams from southern NH. Our goal for this year is to provide a safe and fun experience for all who would like to learn the game, develop skills and have fun outside with friends and teammates.

This year more than ever it’s important that we have an adequate level of involvement from volunteer parent coaches. You do not need previous lacrosse experience or expertise to help. Please contact Jim Healy at 603-369-7225 if you are interested in pitching in for either the 7/8 grade girls or boys.

Come play with us!

About FOHL:

Friends of Hanover Lacrosse (FOHL), a non-profit organization, supports youth lacrosse in Hanover and Lyme, New Hampshire and Norwich and Strafford, Vermont.  In addition to providing assistance to the boys and girls high school teams, FOHL administers the 7th and 8th grade lacrosse programs.  We also encourage participation in the sport among youth in general so that they may learn and enjoy lacrosse at an early age.

In "non-Covid" years, the 7/8 teams play in both the New Hampshire Youth Lacrosse League (NHYLA) and the more regional league that includes Lebanon, Woodstock, Hartford, St. Johnsbury, New London, etc.

Town Recreation Recreation Departments manage K-6th grade lacrosse programs. Please go to your town recreation website to register.
